Summer in the desert hits differently.

In Tucson, summer can feel especially intense. The heat changes our sleep, our mood, our skin, our energy, our nervous systems, our routines, our relationships to food, movement, rest, and even connection.

Long stretches indoors. Burnout. Overstimulation. Isolation. Skin flare-ups. Fatigue. Anxiety. Dehydration. Disconnection from our bodies. But summer can also be a season of expansion, creativity, vitality, pleasure, softness, and reconnection when we learn how to work with the season instead of against it.

This workshop was created to help you better understand what your body and mind may need during summer, through an integrative lens that combines naturopathic medicine, mental health, holistic skincare, nervous system education, and realistic wellness practices.

Practical, grounded care for life in the desert.

What is the 4 seasons of health series?

The Four Seasons of Health is an ongoing seasonal workshop series designed to help people reconnect with their health in a way that feels cyclical, sustainable, and human.

Rather than approaching wellness as constant optimization, this series explores how our bodies, emotions, energy, skin, habits, and nervous systems naturally shift throughout the year.

Each seasonal event will explore topics like:

  • nervous system support

  • seasonal eating and nourishment

  • skin health

  • movement and energy

  • rest and recovery

  • realistic self-care practices

  • community connection

  • seasonal rituals and reflection
