Meet Our Team
Isaac Hernandez
Pre-Licensed Therapist (he/him)
You may look like you are holding everything together while, inside, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself. Anxiety, depression, painful experiences, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and major life changes can make it hard to know where to begin. You do not have to work through them alone.
My goal is to create a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. I will meet you with curiosity and respect, without assumptions, and take the time to understand your experiences, relationships, culture, values, strengths, and hopes for your life.
Counseling with me is collaborative and tailored to you. Together, we may explore patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical ways to cope with difficult emotions, process painful experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and help you move toward a life that feels more meaningful and authentic. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science from the University of Arizona and am completing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. As a bilingual and bicultural counselor, I recognize how deeply family, culture, identity, spirituality, and personal values can shape our lives. These parts of you are welcome in our work together.
Outside of Soul Space, I am a husband and father who enjoys spending time with my family, learning about psychology, and exercising. I bring warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and an appropriate sense of humor into the counseling room.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can begin wherever you are. If you feel we may be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
