Meet Our Team

Jennifer Cassius (she/her/hers)

Many of the women I work with find themselves at a crossroads: questioning long-held roles, redefining their sense of self, or facing losses—both tangible and intangible—that can feel difficult to name. There may be grief for what was, uncertainty about what lies ahead, or a feeling that something needs to change, even if it’s not yet clear what that is or looks like. These transitions can feel isolating, but they are also deeply human—and often hold the potential for meaningful growth and renewal!

As a therapist, I am dedicated to supporting women as they navigate these complex and often unexpected transitions of midlife and beyond. This stage of life can bring profound shifts—whether through divorce/gray divorce, caregiving for aging loved ones, peri/menopause, empty nesting, health challenges, or evolving relationships. These transitions deserve care, understanding, and space to be explored.

My approach is deeply client-centered, grounded in the belief that each person’s experience is unique and should be met with compassion and respect. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Together, we will explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and work toward a sense of clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose.

In our work together, the therapeutic process is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs. My goal is to provide a place of safety, where you can share openly at your own pace. We will gently explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to feelings of overwhelm, loss, or uncertainty. I often incorporate mindfulness-based techniques and practical tools to help with navigating challenges and achieving goals.

What we do in session is about helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom, values, and strengths. At times, this may involve processing grief, honoring the complexity of major life transitions, or letting go of identities or roles that no longer fit. At other times, it may focus on building new coping strategies, setting boundaries, deepening self-trust, or rediscovering a sense of meaning and possibility in this next chapter of life. I care deeply about the work I do and the people I serve.

If you’re looking for support during pivotal moments of life, I would be honored to offer steady support, insight, and encouragement as you move toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, fulfilled and empowered. If you’re ready, please contact me for a free 15-minute consult.
