Meet Our Team
Audrey Huber, LAC (she/her/hers)
Hi, my name is Audrey. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona. My journey toward becoming a therapist began with my undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, where I worked with individuals as a weight loss and dietary counselor. From there, I learned about the mind-body connection and developed a passion for connecting with and helping others restore a sense of hope, health, and wholeness in their lives. I believe healing happens within relationships that are attuned and supportive.
I strive to create a space for you that is warm and genuine, where we can work toward deepening your insight into yourself, your behaviors, patterns, and coping skills that may no longer serve you. I invite you to become curious about yourself and build compassion toward yourself, with the goal of helping you live a more self led and empowered life.
I enjoy working with a range of ages, including children ages 5+, teens, and adults. My approach to therapy is trauma informed, helping you explore how your past has shaped you while recognizing that it does not define you. I also take a person centered approach, holding the belief that you are the expert and have the ability to make change in your life.
I draw from various modalities to support you along your journey, including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic interventions, strengths-based therapy, and art and play based interventions to navigate challenges related to self esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, my cats, and being in nature. I especially enjoy hiking, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good book.
